Policy
Terms of Service
1. The agreement
These terms are an agreement between Weird Labs Private Limited ("we", "us"), registered at 3/6 Soni Bunglow, Mathuradas Road, Kandivali West, Mumbai 400067, Maharashtra, India, and the organisation that signs up for Yesboss ("you", "your organisation"). By creating an organisation or using Yesboss, you accept these terms on your organisation's behalf, and you confirm you're allowed to do so. Our Privacy Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy are part of these terms.
2. The service
Yesboss is a team chat with task management and an AI assistant ("Yesboss") that reads your team's messages, the names and captions of files and, where your admins turn them on, transcripts of voice notes, then suggests tasks and follows up on them. Some features depend on your plan, as shown on our pricing.
Yesboss's suggestions are made by AI and can be wrong or incomplete. A person always confirms a task before it's created, and your organisation stays responsible for its decisions, deadlines and work. Don't rely on Yesboss as your only record of anything legal, financial, safety-critical or medical.
3. Accounts and your organisation
- An organisation needs at least 2 people. The person who signs up becomes its Owner and can appoint admins.
- You must be at least 18, and use your real name and a work email you control.
- Keep your sign-in details secret, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
- Your organisation's admins decide who joins, what roles they have, and whether Yesboss is switched on. Your organisation is responsible for what its members do in Yesboss.
- Your organisation must tell its members that Yesboss reads team chats to suggest tasks. The app shows everyone a notice, too.
4. Free trial, plans and billing
- Free trial. The first organisation you create gets 7 days of the Know-it-all plan for free, with no card needed. The plan you picked on our website is pre-selected for when the trial ends, and you can change it. There is one free trial per account: organisations you create after that start on a paid plan. Joining someone else's organisation never uses up your trial.
- Plans. Polite costs $1, Pushy $2 and Know-it-all $3, per active person per month, in US dollars. There's a minimum charge of $5 per organisation per month.
- Billing. Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, starting when you choose a plan. Adding people or moving to a higher plan is charged straight away for the rest of the month. Removing people or moving to a lower plan takes effect from your next billing date.
- No refunds. All payments are final and non-refundable.
- Taxes. Prices don't include taxes such as GST, which we add where the law requires.
- AI usage. AI usage is included in every plan, up to a monthly allowance sized to your team. If you go over it, Yesboss checks chats every 30 minutes until the next month. We never charge extra for AI usage without telling you first.
- Yesboss actions (add-on) Coming soon. Yesboss actions isn't available yet, and this point and the next apply once it launches. It will be an optional add-on, on any plan, billed per person who switches it on, at the price shown on our website (planned at $3 per person per month). Each person will get 50 runs a month across all the tools they connect. A run will be used when an action they approved goes through. Unused runs won't carry over. The add-on will follow the same billing, no-refund and notice rules as plans. Lowering the runs included will count as a price change.
- Actions you approve. Once Yesboss actions launches, Yesboss will only send, book or share something after you tap to approve it, and it will do so from the account you connected. You'll be responsible for what you approve, as if you had sent it yourself.
- Price changes. We'll give you at least 15 days' notice by email before a price change affects you.
- Unpaid accounts. If a trial ends without a plan, or a payment fails, Yesboss pauses. Chats and tasks keep working for 14 days, after which the workspace becomes read-only until a plan is active again. A new organisation still awaiting its first payment is read-only until it pays. If no plan is active 90 days after the workspace became read-only (for a new organisation, 90 days after it was created), we delete it and its content. We email the Owner and admins 30 days and 7 days before.
Cancellation is covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
5. Your content
- Your organisation owns everything its members put into Yesboss: messages, tasks, files and the rest ("your content").
- You give us permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to run Yesboss for you. That includes sending chat text to our AI provider and, if your team turns on voice transcripts, voice notes to our transcription provider, as the Privacy Policy explains.
- We don't sell your content or use it to advertise, and our AI and transcription providers don't use it to train their models.
- You're responsible for having the right to share your content and for keeping it lawful.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Yesboss to:
- break the law, or share content that's illegal, infringing, harassing, hateful or sexually explicit;
- send spam or malware;
- try to reach another organisation's data, probe or break our security, or get around plan limits;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to build a competing product;
- try to trick Yesboss's AI into doing something harmful, or into revealing data you're not allowed to see.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell your organisation's admins first.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Yesboss running and secure, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. We may improve or change features over time. If we remove something important from your plan, we'll tell you in advance.
8. Ending the agreement
- You can cancel at any time, as described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
- We may end this agreement with 30 days' notice, or straight away if you seriously break these terms or don't pay.
- When it ends, you have 30 days to export your content, after which we delete it as the Privacy Policy describes. If you cancel, those 30 days start when the period you've paid for ends. If it ends because your organisation didn't pay, the 90 days in section 4 apply instead.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Apart from what these terms promise, Yesboss is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows:
- We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or missed deadlines.
- Our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount your organisation paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
10. Your responsibility to us
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content or your organisation's misuse of Yesboss, your organisation will cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts in Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll tell your organisation's admins at least 15 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Yesboss after that means you accept the new terms.
